  • I have times listed for session times, and like to work until you are confident you have what you need.
  • If you are have specific needs, I work within your time constraits.
  • Please let me know before your session of any constraits or conditions.
  • Being comfortable in front of the camera, and fully prepared for your session will help the session move more quickly.
  • Adding a make-up artist or additional looks will add about 30 minutes to the session.

+ WHAT ARE LOOKS?

  • Looks are considered one outfit changes.
  • 1 Look means we only do one wardrobe for the entire session. 2 Looks would include a wardrobe change through the session.
  • Please contact me directly prior to the shoot if you are unsure.

+ WHAT LOCATION DO WE SHOOT AT?

  • Your time is limited. That's why I will travel to your location (within 15 miles of Atlanta) to shoot your headshot, or portrait session.
  • If you don't have a location picked out, let me help you find a location that suits your needs.

+ WHY SHOOT ON LOCATION?

Most of my clients feel awkward posing in a stuffy studio they aren't familiar with, so I do away with all that and take you to a gorgeous outdoor location where you can relax and just be yourself while I create the most amazing portraits you can imagine, all while having fun!

+ WHAT ABOUT MY WARDROBE?

Simplicity is best when choosing clothes. Your headshot session is about you, don't make it about the wardrobe.

  • Solid colors tend to work best in headshots.
  • Paterns tend to distract from the face. If you must though, keep it simple.
  • Bring a few outfits to the shoot for us to choose from.
  • Make sure your clothes are ironed before your session.
  • Whatever you wear, make sure you feel completely comfortable in it.

+ WHAT ABOUT MY HAIR?

  • I ask clients to come hair ready. I will watch for fly-a-ways, but I do not do hair.
  • If you would like to schedule someone to do your hair with your session, I would be happy to help.

+ DO I NEED A MAKE-UP ARTIST?

  • I recommend using a make-up artist (for men and women).
  • Make-up artist apply a natural base of make-up to reduce shiny skin.
  • You are welcome to hire your own make-up artist or do your own make-up. While I strongly recommended a make-up artists, it is optional.

+ HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?

We will keep taking photos until you and I feel you have plenty of photos to choose from. We’ll look through them briefly during your session to make sure the direction of the shoot is as you envisioned.

+ HOW LONG UNTIL I GET THE PHOTOS DELIVERED TO ME?

After a studio session, you’ll get a link to a private online proofing gallery emailed to you, typically within 24-48 hours. Delivery of your final photos will depend on how many photos are being delivered, but it averages at about 5-7 days. A rush fee of $75 applies for a 24-hour turnaround of retouched photos.

+ WHAT IS A "COMP" CARD?

A "comp card", also called a "zed card", is a usually an 8.5" x 5.5" photographic compilation that generally includes a headshot, a few other representative shots, and the model's basic stats. If you are an actor or model, a comp card is a very good idea.

+ DO YOU SELL ACTING PRINTS OR ZED/COMP CARDS?

  • I do have a print house that I use as needed.
  • You can add notes to your order in the proofing gallery (i.e. Image 1 on comp card front, or 8x10 acting headshot with my name), and I will arrange for the printing to be done with the print house after you approve of the final look.
  • These packages are created on an as needed basis because of layout options and quantities requested.

+ CAN I CREATE A CUSTOM/GROUP PACKAGES?

Absolutely! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, email me and I will work out a custom package for you.
